Eugene Ralph Riccio, Sr., born March 8 1937 in Bridgeport Connecticut to Mariano Riccio and Philomena Morino Riccio, passed away December 28, 2020 in Ocala, Florida.
Prior to starting a family, Eugene was stationed in Germany during his service as a cook in the U.S Army. During that time he was given a metal for his outstanding conduct. Upon starting a family with his wife Anna Riccio, Eugene fulfilled His role as an established printer at the Herald in Connecticut. Then relocated to Florida with his family, and what started as a hobby, became a very successful business for the next 40 years doing Antique Restoration as a very accomplished Master Woodworker. Many people in Ocala grew to love him and admired his attention to detail in every job he finished.
He was preceded in death by parents Mariano Riccio and Philomena Morino Riccio, his wife of 48 years on July 19, 2016.
Gene is survived by son, Eugene Ralph Riccio, Jr. daughter Gina Marie Riccio, and his brother Victor Riccio and sister Etta Gaurino Riccio, and Grandchildren Dylan and Sophia Nedabylek.
