Frederick J Templin, 68, loving and much loved husband of Shirley Templin, (Froelich) passed away on June 21, 2019 at Bayfront Health Seven Rivers hospital after a long illness.

Fred was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Raymond and Anita Templin (Ciepluch) on October 5, 1950. He attended St Hyicinth Catholic grade school and Boys Tech and South Division high schools. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and did his Boot Camp at Camp Pendleton, California and served his country proudly. He went on to work for General Electric Medical Systems for 37 years. At retirement, he and Shirley built a home in Crystal River, Florida where they enjoyed a quieter laid back life with their dogs.
Fred had a brother Robert who preceded him in death.

He is survived by Robert's wife Susan Templin of Muskego, Wisconsin, brothers-in-law Robert (Hermine) Froelich of Germantown, Wisconsin, John (Carol) Froelich of Crystal River, Florida and Tom (Julie) Froelich of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He is further survived by nephew Brett Templin of Muskego, Wisconsin, nieces, Dawn Boutris of New Berlin, Wisconsin, Holly (Eric) Joy of Muskego, Wisconsin, Nicole Froelich of Brookfield, Wisconsin, Noreen Froelich of Brookfield, Wisconsin, nephew Richard Anstett of Spartanburg, SC, Robert Anstett (Christina) of Naples, Florida, and Bradley (Megan)Winter of Maricopa, Arizona. He is also survived by great neices and nephews, cousins, and friends.

His biggest passions were his dogs, cookouts at friends and family in Wisconsin, following the Chicago Bears football team, ( Later in life he and Brett would break down each weeks game in weekly phone calls to each other), and reading books about the Bears (like Mike Ditka or Walter Payton) and books about the Vietnam War. He could recite statistics about that war that no one else knew.

He will truly and deeply be missed by many. But, we all have our memories.

A service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Fountains Memorial Park in the chapel, 5636 W Green Acres St, Homosassa, Florida.
