Gerard J. "Jerry" Grandpre, 76 passed away in Summerfield FL on August 06, 2019 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in 1942 in Waterbury, CT to Alphonse and Beatrice (Pion) Grandpre. He graduated in 1960 from Sacred Heart High School and in 1962 from Post Junior College where he was a member of ROTC. His friendly attitude and interest in people led to his successful career in various sales positions. Jerry moved to Florida in 1990 and lived in multiple communities in both East and Central Florida. He retired early and was able to enjoy playing golf and his passion for table tennis.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Jamie (McCullouth); his children Mary (Paul) Suter and John Grandpre of Connecticut , who he shared with his former spouse Ann (Kinlock) (Dandonoli); stepdaughter Angie (Zack) Hoepker of Florida; grandchildren William (Shivani), Peter and Andrew Suter, Maison and Zander Grandpre, Ricky and Courtney Straughn; great grandchildren Raveena Suter and Kevin Straughn; his brother Roger (Roberta) Grandpre and their children Pam, Roger, Julie and Andrew. His beloved dogs Shrek and Jake will be a great comfort to Jamie.
