Mary Magdeline Foster was born on October 27, 1934 to the late Hilda Brown in Charleston, South Carolina. She is the oldest of siblings Constance (Penny) Smith and Devina Brown

Mary received her formal education at Morris High School, Bronx, NY. It was during this time she learned to split while attending dance classes in the after school program. Prior to high school, Mary was actively involved in the Girls Scouts, Harlem, NY.

November 3, 1951, Mary M. Brown and William F. Foster (deceased) were united in Holy
Matrimony. From this union they were blessed with four children. Years later, they moved to Queens, NY and became members of the St. Clement Pope church.

From 1966 to 1991, Mary was employed as a school matron at Public School 30. She was
greatfully appreciated and recognized for her devoted 25 years of service by the Board of
Education, PTA, Local 74, A.F.L.- C.I.O. - C.L.C. union, staff and students.

In 1992, Mary and William moved to Ocala, FL. There, she dedicated her time to gardening, reading, sewing, traveling, ceramic classes and interacting with family and friends. She will
forever be remembered for having a kind, warm and loving spirit who touched the hearts of many.

Mary was truly blessed and loved by her daughters, Charlotte D. Brown, Caroline D. Crump, son-in-law, Vincent G. Crump, DPM, sons, William F. Foster and Allen P. Foster; sister-in-law, Dolores Foster.

Grandchildren: Ayana Mitchell and husband, Earl Mitchell, Hassan Cherry and wife, Grisel Cherry. Cassandra Hausey, Veronica Davis and husband, Lynford Davis, Matthew Foster
(deceased), Andrew Brown, Vincent J. Crump and wife Asela Crump.

Great grandchildren: Justin Cherry, Jasmine Cherry, Earl Mitchell, Jr. Elijah Mitchell, Emani
Foster, Naomi Hausey, Jake Cherry, Jared Hausey, Isaiah Davis, Lorenzo Crump, Julian Crump,
Jaden Davis, Evelyn Crump, Ceclia Crump, Aaliyah Brown, Julia Crump, Jada James, and on the way, baby Cameron Davis.

Godchild, Robin Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
