Obituary

Shirley Ann Thompson, 87, passed from this world April 10, 2020 at Legacy House in Ocala, Florida.

Shirley was born October 05, 1932 in Flaxton, N. Dak.to Bertha and Carl Wolen. She married John "Jack" Thompson in 1951and the family moved to Ellensburg, Washington. Mrs. Thompson came to Ocala, Florida after her husband passed in 2017.

She retired from the Valley Clinic in Ellensburg after 30 years of service. Shirley was a member of the Lutheran Church in Ellensburg. She also belonged to the Eagles Club, Moose Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved cooking, fishing, camping and spending time with her family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years"Jack". Her daughter Cynthia Rae Toman and two sisters, Ione Clark of California and Arlene Bowman of Calgary, Alberta. Her parents Bertha and Carl Wolen.
She is survived by two daughters, RamonaTyma of Ocala, Florida and Deborah Leslie of Ellensburg, Washington. Five grandchildren, Cristy Swearngin of Ellensburg, Wa., Patrick Shannon of Renton, Wa., Jennifer Ficarrotta of Tampa,Fl., Craig Toman of Bothell, Wa. and Juli Rodriguez of Selah, Wa. Shirley also, has nine great grandchildren.

The family has agreed that due to the Coronavirus there will be no services at this time.
