As a child I spent many week ends with Aunt Callie and Uncle Arthur. I hadn’t even started school. I was always up early, the 3 teenagers in the house. Not so much. My Sunday morning job was to wake the three of them up for breakfast . George and Carolyn were easy, Walter not so much. I can remember complaining, “ Do I have to get Walter up.” Sometimes he would just roll over with a pillow over his head, when I was reluctantly going back the second time he would throw the pillow at me. The next time I would just bang on the door and run. Then I learned I could throw the pillow back at him. And then it became a game. Walter often took me on his dates. Once it was so foggy I just knew we were going to die, of course he played that up. I was probably 4 or 5. But I remember like it was yesterday. Many years later I would spend the summer with all the Andersons, Walter, Carolyn, George and all the children. I always felt like the most favoured cousin because I had the privilege of being a part of their families. Walter was always so very good to me, he was always giving me advice. Love lasts a lifetime even if we have been separated for many years. There are always memories . So very for your loss. Love you all. Cousin Kari Anderson Burgess
