William Edward Haagen 83 of Ocala graduated to his heavenly rewards on April 4, 2019. He was born to Charles Wellington Haagen and Grace Violet Goodman Haagen on January 20, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA. He is preceded in death by both his parents and his brothers Charles ,Bob, and Jim . Survivors include his beloved wife of 21 years Mickie Haagen, daughter Annette Turbeville (Ron); brother Ray (Julie), six sisters, Grace Hauer (Bill); Ruth Taggart (Mike); Naomi Capaldi (Jim); Sylvia Orrell (Rick); Dorothy Steinebach (Jim), Joanie Ryan (Ellis); four grandchildren, Ronnie, Allie, C.J., Emily, two great grandchildren, Natalie and Ava.William was a retired Field Engineer in Electronics and enjoyed building train platforms for his model trains and buying tools, He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1962 as a Crypto equipment operator and maintenance technician a high level government security clearance position and was stationed in Alaska, later Iceland and then Diego Garcia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Bill's memory to Christ's Church of Marion County. He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date and will receive Air Force Honors. Services will be private.

My condolences to the Haagen family. Bill regardless of our differences was one of the kindest, gentless men I ever knew.
